You may not venture far, with The New Forest and Dorset Coast on the doorstep, but if you are in search of a day trip, then the Historic Corfe Castle with its steam railway is well worth a visit or head further west to Lyme Regis and search for fossils along the Jurassic Coast.

This lovely little cottage has been finished to an exceptionally high standard.The property was warm and comfortable, the decor is lovely, the kitchen has all you expect and the big walk-in shower was bliss!An excellent base from which to explore the New Forest!

Lovely cosy cottage in a superb location. Well equipped and very comfortable. Would have perhaps benefited on receiving some instructions as to where exactly the cottage is located as it was completely clear when we arrived. It took us a while to find it as you have to turn immediately off Duck Isla...
