If you are a Harry potter fan then look no further than Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens to explore, making it an extremely scenic day trip, or simply stroll along the coast and spend time relaxing on one of the area’s many beaches.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and found the cottage had all we needed. Location was good . What was an added bonus was the use of a parking permit which we used on most of our trips out and about. Car park at the cottage was adequate for small car .

Lovely welcoming cottage. Warm and cosy very comfortable and had everything we needed. First time we’ve used this cottage and would use it again in the winter months. A lovely welcome pack for us and for our dog, thoughtful. Thank you.

We had a great stay at Cygnet Cottage. We found it very comfortable and our dogs settled straight away. Perfect location for local amenities and places of interest. The beaches are amazing! We parked behind the house, it is a tight corner to get there but it wasn’t an issue, the main car park is only a couple of mins walk away if you have a large car. I would definitely stay again.
