The Little Rose is a charming holiday home in the heart of Lyme Regis, Dorset.
Beautifully renovated to preserve the original features of the building, built in the 1600’s, including wooden beams and panelling, fireplaces and exposed stonework; all while being an ideal family holiday home.
Located right in the heart of town within 50 yards of the seafront, beaches, pubs and restaurants, the Little Rose has three floors and can accommodate up to eight guests in four bedrooms, making it ideal for a trip away with family or friends.
You can park your car in the nearby public car park and then walk into the bright hallway, which leads to the kitchen/diner and spacious living room.
You can take a well-earned rest on the plush blue sofas and watch a family favourite on the Smart TV before thinking about dinner.
Sit down as a family and enjoy a hearty meal prepared in the kitchen, complete with a range-style electric oven and gas hob. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats.
Share your travel experiences over a glass of wine on the private gravelled patio before retiring to one of the four bedrooms.
The first floor has a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and a fun twin room.
There is a first floor bathroom, boasting a freestanding bath with shower over.
There is also a separate WC on the first floor, while the second floor has two king-size bedrooms, one with en-suite shower facilities and Smart TV. There is a wealth of history and natural beauty in Lyme Regis, which is home to the UK's largest collection of dinosaur fossils, and is just a short walk away from the Little Rose.
In addition, there is a Fossil Beach and a Marine Aquarium (where you can find fossils of ancient sea creatures embedded in the rocks) as well as The Pilot Boat and the Cobb Arms two of the town's best restaurants and pubs.
Head to Dorchester where there are a number of historic attractions, including Borough Gardens, Dorset Museum, Maiden Castle, and the National Trust - Max Gate. Beaches abound all along the south coast, where you can laze around on a warm day and take strolls along the coastal path.

The living areas in this Grade 2 listed property consist of a kitchen/diner with range style electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and woodburning stove, a sitting room with feature fireplace and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor king-size with feature fireplace, Smart TV and en-suite shower room, a king-size with feature fireplace and Smart TV, a second-floor double with feature fireplace and a twin with a window seat, all serviced by a family bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is a private gravel garden with furniture and permit parking for one car in a public carpark a short walk away from the property. Within 0.2 miles there is a shop and 0.1 a pub and beach. One well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Little Rose is the perfect setting for a family trip to Lyme Regis.
We have been contacted by the local council concerning essential works taking place within the car park from the 3rd Feb for approximately 3-4 weeks weather dependent.
There will be a dedicated area for cars that have a parking permit to display, however please note that EV charging will not be available during this time but Charmouth Road Car Park and Holmbush Car Park chargers will be fully operational.

We had a lovely stay at The Little Rose. It was the perfect place for us to stay with four adults and three children. The house was spotless, the beds are so comfortable and it was so well equipped, even buckets and spades for the children to use at the beach and board games for them to play. Thank you for a wonderful place to relax after exploring beautiful Lyme Regis.

Beautifully done up house with deceptively huge bedrooms. Loads of character and very well equipped. The outdoor space is tiny but that hardly matters when you have the beach on your doorstep - such a brilliant location!
