Finding your way through countryside and seaside views, you can park off road and unpack your bags with ease.
Upon entering the traditional stone cottage, you will be met with an interior both welcoming and teeming with heritage, with historic six-foot thick stone walls, a wooden roof with contemporary skylights and more traditional woodburning stove to give you a flavour of a characterful property that has been owned by the same family for over 250 years.
An open-plan living space boasts all the necessities needed for relaxation, from a sumptuous seating area with a wood burning stove and underfloor heating to warm you up after a long day of adventures; a selection of books, a TV and a speaker are provided to help you unwind.
A beautiful hand-crafted wooden table and chairs teams with local produce you have rustled up into a splendid meal in the spacious and convenient kitchen area, equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and more.
Walking on from the kitchen, you will find a super-king-size bedroom, thoughtfully laid-out with rustic furnishings, framing a remarkable view to the unspoilt landscape outside.

Note: Please bear in mind that this property is located on an island and therefore only accessible by plane or ferry.
Note: Due to the historic nature of the property it has been difficult to accommodate full modern facilities. There is, unfortunately, no disabled access, some doorways are quite narrow and low, and the shower cubicle is compact in size.

Fabulous blackhouse restoration in a great location

This is a wonderfully restored blackhouse that was renovated with an addition that houses the kitchen, bath and entry hall. The great room and bedroom are very spacious as they take up the blackhouse space. The skylights add plenty of light and wood stove makes it a cozy environment.
