The living areas in this property consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting are with an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, TV, and sofa bed. The bedroom consists of a king-size, along with a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is a front garden with decking, furniture and a barbecue, and a private driveway for two cars. You'll find a shop in 2 miles and a pub in 1.8 miles. This is a pet-free and a smoke-free property. A travel cot can be requested. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Cuckoo Nest is a charming abode to explore Derbyshire and the nearby Peak District. Note: Guests have the option to sleep either on the sofa bed, or climb the ladder, up to the king-size bed. Note: There are steps to the exterior. Note: There is limited head room in the king-size bedroom.

The host was very helpful, non intrusive and friendly. The house was small but cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to stay again sometime

Absolutely lovely little place to stay, small and cosy for couple weekends away. Very relaxing and quiet with plenty of scenery for country lovers. Lots of local pubs to visit while out on your walks. Owners were great aswel, they’d made some fresh cake for the day of arrival and ventured out to get us some coal for the bbq. Highly recommend if you’re into nature and a peaceful break away!
