If the words ‘let’s go camping’ fill you with dread and you’ve been fooled more than once that glamping is any different – we both know it’s not – yet you still love being outdoors, surrounded by woodland and nature, then The Hut @Rawsons, a completely private hideaway, is the place for you.
The Hut offers the perfect opportunity to get ‘off grid’ for a few days. Snuggle up inside, or out, and relish the opportunity to get lost in a good book (ditch the gadgets!). Listen to some vintage vinyls. Cook/eat/relax alfresco.
Exploring the countless trails right from your doorstep (walking/cycling/running), return to soak in a lovely warm bath under the trees. Switch everything off and tune into the birdsong.
Light the wood burner & play board games … and finally, dive under your Siberian down duvet and gaze at the stars.
Whatever you decide you’ll leave Rawsons feeling relaxed, revived & restored.
The Hut @Rawsons sleeps two, but the farm also has The Room @Rawsons which sleeps two. These can be booked and coordinated.

Important to note: Dogs are not permitted and Smoking and vaping are also not permitted. You will be asked to leave if you disregard this. The shower and bath facilities are outside and open-air, however, the remote and private location means you are away from any public and free to roam in your 'birthday suite'.
The Hut @Rawsons comprises of The Hut, The Pod, outdoor kitchen, upper & lower decking, outdoor bathtub & shower and don’t panic … a flushing loo!
The Hut: Carpeted with sofa & armchair / Large footstool / Indoor dining table & chairs / Wood burner / Skylight / Double French doors / Indoor storage / Board games & cards / Record player & vintage records.
The Pod/Bedroom: Carpeted with King-size bed / Stable door / Huge landscape window + windows on 2 sides with views up to Whitbarrow & out into the woodland / Siberian down pillows & duvets / Luxurious bedding / Hanging hooks / Clothing storage / Electric heater.
Outdoor Kitchen (Partially Covered): Sage IQ Oven/Grill/Slow cooker / Single ceramic hob (portable) / Kettle / Lavazza Coffee pod machine / Milk frother / Toaster / Fridge / Sink (hot & cold running water) / Saucepans, crockery, cutlery + cooking utensils / Outdoor loveseat / Heated overhead lamp / Cupboard storage / Waste bin / (Freezer & additional fridge located in farm buildings)
Comfort Facilities: Indoor/Outdoor flushing loo (Shrek style cubicle!) with hand basin / Outdoor shower & woodland bath both with hot & cold running water

We were absolutely blown away on arrival. The host had thought of everything and more! Luxury accomodation with so many nice touches. Gorgeous food & drink provided but left alone in total privacy. Jan is a wonderful lady and should be so proud of this beautiful oasis she has created. We will be back asap.

The hut has the best of both worlds in having an outdoor shower, bath and cooking area and being surrounded by nature, but also having a feel of cosiness and luxury with everything you could ever you need. The host was also really kind and made us feel at home.
