A smart modern 2-bedroom villa with sun terrace and pool close to popular Paphos in Cyprus.
This contemporary villa is designed with a modern open plan living area that opens out with sliding doors straight into the pool area creating an indoor-outdoor feel. You can kick back on the sofa for a movie night or cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen. You’ll find all the essentials you need for your stay, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, oven, hob, washing machine and ample fridge-freezer.
Head upstairs to find two well-sized bedrooms – a king and a double – with fresh white walls and neutral furnishings. The double has an ensuite shower room, plenty of wardrobe space and lovely views out to sea. The king also features a large built-in wardrobe and has views over the attractive neighbouring villas.
The outside area is outlined with green shrubbery and includes a swimming pool and sun terrace with sun loungers where you relax with a cocktail and catch some rays. Or move your loungers into the shade of the awning to cool off when the sun is at its hottest.
Air conditioning runs throughout the house, and you’ll also be able to use the internet and smart TV – great for keeping kids entertained when they’re tired from playing outdoors all day! Plus touches of modern art and furnishings give your holiday a sophisticated vibe.
Right in the heart of UNESCO world heritage site, Paphos, the villa is right in the midst of some stunning archaeological sites. It’s also only 100m from the nearest beach, and is just a stone’s throw away from all the shops, restaurants and bars in Paphos Old Town. Venture 2km to see the port of Paphos, where you can hire a boat or go on excursions around the coast.

Location:
With a population of 1 million people divided into six districts, Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean. Villa Yiorgis is located in the region of Paphos to the southwest of the island. Paphos has a strong cultural heritage as the former capital city of the island and a long tradition of worshipping the goddess Aphrodite. Thanks to its beauty and historical significance the entire area of Paphos has been named a UNESCO world heritage site, and is a popular destination for tourists. Discover a few of the best places to visit in Paphos below:
Tomb of the Kings
The Tombs of the Kings is a necropolis dating back to the 4th century BC constructed in a series of caves and chambers carved out of sandstone rock. Funnily enough, the tombs aren’t actually the resting place of any kings, but instead home to local dignitaries and high-ranking officials. At only 2.50 euros to enter, this attraction is another bargain with stunning views out across the Mediterranean Sea.
Kato Paphos Archaeological Park
Are you a history buff? Love to explore ancient ruins? Then the Paphos archaeological park is well worth a visit. Visit the houses of Dionysus, Theseus, Aion and Orpheus to view the beautiful mosaic floors that have been preserved for over a thousand years. You’ll see scenes such as Theseus battling the minotaur – a famous story from Greek and Roman mythology. There are also the remains of a small Roman theatre and Roman marketplace. Entry to the park is great value at only 4.50 euros – but note that there’s not much shade in the park so it’s a good idea to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Paphos Old Town
The Old Town of Paphos is full of character and was even voted the European Capital of Culture in 2017. The Municipal Market is a great place to visit with lots of local produce, clothes and accessories. Plus there are of course plenty of bars and cafes for coffee and wine breaks, with fantastic views thanks to the town’s high up location. Stop by The Place – a cultural centre where local artisans sell their traditionally made items such as paintings, woven rugs, jewellery and glassware – for extra-authentic souvenirs from your trip
