You are spoilt for choice with walks and trails, closely by is the Monsal Head trail or further afield is Tissington plus many many more, and if you don’t fancy taking the car out, there is plenty to explore from the doorstep.
Nearby are village pubs in Monyash, both offering tasty homemade meals and local ales.

Great location for Bakewell and close to Hassop Station on the Monsall trail. We walked with our dog from the farm accommodation into Bakewell mostly on footpaths. Plenty of room in the accommodation for us as three adults. A bit tired but well equipped. Secure ( shared ) garden for dogs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our week at the cottage with our 3 dogs. There was an enclosed garden and plenty of parking even when it was busy. The cottage was comfortable, with a nice bed, great shower. Kitchen was adequate though utensils and pans probably due replacing. Its on a dairy farm with other animal...
