Tucked away in a secluded location but just a stone’s throw from the beach, Garden Cottage in Southwold, Suffolk is the perfect destination for a family holiday.
The cottage is surprisingly spacious inside and the open-plan layout is great for families with a space for everyone.
The whole room is beautifully light and airy with large windows overlooking the delightful gardens.
The ample seating area offers a suitably sociable space but with the addition of the TV and DVD player, equally it can be an area where you just chill out and relax.
The attractive kitchen is fully fitted with everything needed to create healthy food for the whole family and there are bar stools conveniently positioned so you can sit down, pour yourself a drink and keep the chef company.
From the kitchen, you can step into the elegant dining area where there is a rustic dining table all set up ready for the whole family to gather, enjoy long, lazy meals together and catch up on all the holiday news.
If the sun is shining, then there are gorgeous gardens to the rear of the property with lawns and a patio area and furniture all set up ready for you to enjoy some time drinking, dining and relaxing alfresco.
At bedtime, guests can choose from two king-sizes or a single; all are beautifully presented and the beds are simply asking you to sink into them after a tiring day out and about holidaying.

Well equipped , ideal location and nice flow to the place.
Overall the property was clean and we didn’t go out to check everywhere but moving a bedside cabinet revealed a large clump of hair, looking deeper the beds need pulling out cleaning, don’t let this stop you choosing as it’s a lovely place
