Not scenic and not tranquil

The house was spacious. It was,as expected a typical Canadian house. The location was away from the hurly burly of resort towns.
The wifi was excellent .
The barbecue was fine but the outside area was so unattractive that we were disinclined to eat outside.
From our garden there were NO views. All we could see was an ugly fence with green netting(I suppose a wind break). The property was like a building site/rubbish dump. The tranquility was disrupted many many times a day by lengthy outbreaks of dog barking.
The shower curtain did not fit the shower so taking a shower resulted in flooding the bathroom. The water was never more than tepid.
