Excellent bird watching, golf, green bowling and sea fishing are available.
There are plenty of coastal and inland cycle routes and excellent walking along quiet lanes, and designated footpaths lead direct from the doorstep.
The beach is wide and sandy, and dogs are permitted along the beach all year round, with an area designated dog-free during the summer months.
Bacton woods offer another great place to walk and explore. Nearby places of historical interest include Sheringham Park, Felbrigg and Blicking Halls (all National Trust). The traditional seaside resort of Cromer has pier with its end of pier show, shops and eateries.
The city of Norwich, 20 miles away, is a shoppers delight with two indoor shopping malls, market square, theatre, cathedral, castle museum and plenty of eateries.
The popular seaside town of Cromer is 7½ miles away, with its famous pier and holiday entertainment. Although the Beehive is small it is very well equipment and the owners provide many extras including a starter hamper. The hot tub was well looked after and you had plenty of garden furniture and a barbeque. The washing machine and tumble dryer + bath robes were a bonus.

Comfy accomodation , petite but well presented . Owners very nice , have thought this place out very well . Nice to have the little surprises they leave . Hot tub is the star .

Me and my partner loved our stay at the beehive. We stayed for 4 nights and the owners were lovely. The extractor fan went in the bathroom we let them know and said it wasn’t a problem.
