Take a boat trip over to the Farne Islands where you might catch sight of an unusual bird or seal.
If you love wildlife, then you’ve come to the right place with RSPB reserves at Annstead Dunes and Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre.
Activities worth having a go at while you’re here include golf at Alnmouth Golf Club, horse-riding at Slate Hall Riding Centre, surfing at Bamburgh Castle Beach and sailing at Beadnell Sailing Club.

Rosedale Lodge is a beautiful Victorian property set in the village of Alnmouth. Benefitting from two bathrooms and two bedrooms along with private parking, with it's light and airy rooms, Rosedale Lodge makes the perfect base in which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer.
Having a south facing terrace to the front, you can sit and enjoy the sun from lunch time through to the evening and being just a short walk to all of Alnmouth's amenities which include, the shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
