Nestling in the heart of sought after Bamburgh in Northumberland, Stone Cottage is a delightful stone-built property ideal for a family holiday or couples travelling together.
The accommodation is spacious and well-presented with an attractive open-plan living area complete with a welcoming seating area, somewhere you can imagine curling up together, chilling out and really getting into the holiday vibe.
The kitchen is immaculate and fully fitted with everything needed to produce hearty food for your holiday party with an elegant dining area all set up ready to host long, leisurely meals.
For less formal dining, pull up a stool at the breakfast bar in the kitchen or use it as an opportunity to pour yourself a drink and keep the designated chef company.
Outside, there is an attractive garden which is fully enclosed and safe for children (and a dog!) to play in together with a patio area complete with patio furniture, the perfect spot to enjoy any sunshine and spend time alfresco.
When it’s time for bed, choose from a king-size or a twin; both are stylish and offer a welcome sanctuary after a tiring day of getting out and about exploring.
Bamburgh is just a few minutes’ walk and has a good selection of shops and amenities as well as the castle.
Head off from here and carry on along the Heritage Coastline where you will find miles of sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages and breath-takingly beautiful castles.
Other towns worth visiting in the region include Alnwick, Seahouses (just a few miles away) and you can even head to the border and visit the ever-popular town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Activities to look forward to in the area include golf, sailing (from Seahouses to the Farne Islands), birdwatching, hiking, cycle rides and horse-riding.

Stone Cottage is an outstanding, detached, stone-built house situated in a much sought after location in Bamburgh village, with views towards Holy Island, and just a few minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach and village amenities. The cottage has been designed and furnished to a very high standard providing a spacious open plan living area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and private parking. The perfect holiday home in a perfect location.

Please note: Arrivals and departures must be a Friday only and 7 nights.
Short breaks are only permitted November to March. Arrivals on Friday only.

Recently visited Stone Cottage, beautiful house and fabulous location for bars, restaurants, castle and beach.
House has comfortable beds, furnished well with fully equipped kitchen and secluded garden with parking.

This cottage ticked all the boxes for our stay. We stayed for a week with our XL Bully dog! The cottage is on a working farm, with sheep, chickens and pigs and not forgetting the numerous Pheasants.
