Great break with family for a Christmas getaway...Cheddar Woods is in a great location and high on the hill, like we were, the views were great - when it wasn't misty.Food was lovely in the restaurant although there was limited seating for large parties who weren't dining.Staff we encountered were all friendly.

Great holiday only problem is I have a dog and the lodge they show is not theone you get . They need to show a dog lodge on the wed sight as you pay more for a dog lodge . Because you only see a none dog lodge picture on the web and the picture is not what you get . Freezer kept freezing up and buzzing front step broken to lodge and no baking trays to cook on .ie pizzas ,chips etc .

Beautiful lodge with beautiful furniture and fittings. Fully equipped with everything you could need including a dish washer and washing machine. Really clean considering dogs allowed. No faults at all.
