A very comfortable one bedroom annexe in Dartmoor National Park, perfect for up to three people and located on the owner’s farm with stunning far reaching countryside views.. All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Freeview TV, Amazon Firestick, DVD Player

Kitchen area: 2-Ring Hob, Microwave, Fridge
Bedroom: Four Poster Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Day Bed Single (3ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.
Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

Grounds with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 large or 2 small dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars.

This property has a natural water supply via borehole.. Located in stunning Dartmoor National Park, The Farmers Den is a lovely annexe that sleeps up to three people in a large comfortable bedroom, boasting a four-poster king-size bed you won’t want to get out of in the morning, and a single-day bed as well.
There’s an open plan living area with two sofas, a tub chair and foldaway table and chairs, and a kitchenette prepared with a fridge, microwave and a two-plate induction hob. Entertainment is provided by way of a TV with an integrated DVD player and an Amazon Firestick.
If you fancy playing some board games, the owners will be happy to supply you with a selection.
Through a door in the lounge area, you will find the spacious and bright contemporary shower room with a double walk-in shower, and outside there is a seating area on one of the fields adjacent to the wedding barn that the owner also runs on-site. The views from here are truly wonderful! There is parking available directly outside the annexe for two cars and on arrival, you may be welcomed by Martha, Fergie and Holly, the owner’s three very friendly and bouncy dogs! The property is located within stunning Dartmoor National Park where you can enjoy a day of walking, while discovering the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors.
The entrance to the moors is literally at the end of the driveway.
Search the Neolithic tombs, Bronze Age stone circles and abandoned medieval farmhouses in this amazing landscape! The surrounding area is filled with rolling hills and magnificent scenery. The property is on the outskirts of the historic village of Lydford, boasting the famous Lydford Gorge with its magnificent waterfall, the 11 mile granite way takes you from Okehampton through Lydford to Meldon, passing through Meldon viaduct and the impressive Bluebell woods. not forgetting the lovely two 16th-century inns and, both so relaxing to chill out and eat. Tavistock lies 7 miles to the south which has been granted a world heritage site rating, and Okehampton lies 8 miles to the North, both bustling market towns seeping with history and many unique shops and markets to explore.
The wide golden sands of Bude and Widemouth Bay are just under an hour away, with excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks, shopping, leisure facilities, restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
Holsworthy is 24 miles away and offers a good selection of local shops, supermarkets and a weekly market.
Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer within the region and Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature and rugged scenery lovers.

A lovely quiet and comfortable boltholt, perfect for accessing the moors without having to get in the car. A super comfy bed and modern bathroom and a lovely host. With a pub close by too, what more could you ask for?!

Lovely little annexe with very welcoming owners with nothing too much trouble. Good recommendations for food etc locally too. Location good to travel to north or south Devon or a day trip to Cornwall like we did!
