Step into the elegantly-presented cottage and the visitor is greeted by a warm and welcoming sitting room complete with comfy-looking sofas, an attractive gas woodburning-effect stove and a TV, a wonderful spot for chilling out in the cooler months and either catching up on each other’s news or enjoying some telly time watching your favourite programmes.
Step into the gorgeous kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with everything needed for a delicious family meal and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the informal breakfast bar or make a meal of it by sitting down at the stylish dining table, where you can look forward to long, leisurely meals together.
If the weather allows, then you can take the party outside into the enclosed courtyard where you can relax in comfort and enjoy some time alfresco.
When it’s time for bed, make your way to one of three delightful bedrooms including the master with a king-size, plenty of storage and an en-suite shower room, a double with its own TV and a twin.

The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double with a TV and a twin, along with a family bathroom. Outside, there is a secure courtyard with patio furniture and unallocated roadside parking. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and a pub, and please note one well-behaved dog is welcome and this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Anvil offers a delightful home-from-home in the heart of Cumbria. Note: There are steps between bedrooms on the first floor so please bear this in mind when booking.
