With its sandy beaches, fair, amusements, Queens Park paddling pools and brightly coloured beach huts, Mablethorpe is a lovely place for a family holiday.
A drive or bus ride south along the coast takes you to Sutton-on-Sea, Sandilands and Anderby Creek, all popular for lovely walks along the seafront or along their sandy beaches.
Further south is Fantasy Island and Butlins for adventure filled family days out, with Skegness and its funfair and attractions including the Embassy Theatre and Cinema also offering plenty to see and do. To the north is Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary and breeding grounds, which are always well worth a visit during the breeding season with usually around a thousand seal pups born here each year.
Each property has its own enclosed, lawned garden, perfect for sitting back and relaxing under the starry sky. There are an abundance of cafés, restaurants and bars offering food and drink, as well as food delivery options if required.

Accommodation was located in a quiet residential area but close enough to the main town to get anything you needed. A welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk and sugar would have been great. The owner is very friendly, helpful and approachable and the four properties are newly built and everything is spotlessly clean and brand new.

The property was nice and clean but it just felt clinical as opposed to homely, everywhere was painted in ‘magnolia’ and it needed some wall paintings and craft/vases etc just to make it feel ‘warm’. The host was very helpful and polite so overall I would recommend a stay there.
