As day rolls into night, head downstairs to refresh with an indulgent bath or a rejuvenating shower before you tuck yourself in for a much-needed rest in one of the two inviting bedrooms. After savouring your morning coffee outside in the courtyard whilst soaking in your tranquil new surroundings, slip on your shoes and head into Grasmere on foot to explore your local area. Stock up on homely essentials at the Co-Op, sit down for a spot of tea at Heidi's Cafe, tuck into a pub lunch at the 1769 Bar & Restaurant, or even book a table at The Jumble Room or Harley's Bistro & Café Bar for when you fancy a break from cooking one evening. Whilst you're in the village, be sure to stop by the Wordsworth Grasmere Museum, former home of the famed poet, as well as the National Trust country house of Allan Bank and Grasmere.
