This charming wooden cottage has come straight out of a children’s fairytale.
Set on the hillside, looking out over the Krka river valley, amongst vineyards, the cottage is an excellent base for a relaxing holiday in the famously beautiful region of Dolenjska. Built into the side of the hill, the cottage has a wine cellar, and the main living area is on the first floor, with a large, semi-covered terrace in front.
Here, guests can dine al fresco and enjoy the truly magnificent views.
Inside is furnished with a comfortable sofa, a traditional wood-burning stove, a flatscreen TV, and a dining table for 4 people.
The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster. In the attractive garden, there is a swing, and other children’s toys are available, plus sun loungers for adults. The owners are working towards making the property more sustainable, with steps such as banning single-use plastic, providing recycling bins, double glazing and water-efficient toilets. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The cosy master bedroom is furnished with a wooden double bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: Tucked under the eaves, the second bedroom has two single beds. Bathroom The tiled bathroom includes a glass shower, basin, washing machine and WC. There is the Grad Otocec golf course just 15 minutes away.
For something more relaxing, the thermal springs of Smarjeske Toplice (10 minutes) offer excellent spa treatments. The historic town of Novo Mesto (20 minutes) has everything visitors might need in terms of amenities, plus paddle boarding, boat hire, rafts and canoes. Ljubljana’s international airport is a 1 hour 15 minute drive.

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage.
Leider war die obere Etage sehr staubig und verdreckt. Wir haben diese selbst gereinigt. Die Mikrowelle war sehr schmutzig. Das war ein kleines Manko.

Das Häuschen - märchenhaft, der Ausblick - atemberaubend.
Himmlische Ruhe..... , es waren wundervolle und erholsame Tage,
wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt.
Für unsere Hunde war es ein Erlebnis, den Beiden hat es hier auch sehr gut gefallen.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame und glückliche Zeit. Die riesigen Weinberge und die ruhige Umgebung sind traumhaft schön. Die Räume sind klein und für 2 Menschen mittlerer Größe ausreichend und gemütlich. Super ist auch die freie Nutzung des hauseigenen Weines aus dem Weinkeller. Abends bei Sonnenunt...
