Town: Staveley is situated between Kendal and Windermere and has gained a reputation as the Gateway to the Lakes. It is mainly comprised of picturesque, grey slate buildings, sandwiched between the rivers Kent and Gowan. This once forested area was grazed as early as 4000BC. There are many holiday homes in Staveley, but this has one of the best locations, being away from the main road and handy for dog walks. Clean, comfortable and well equipped.
