For outdoor lovers, Arran offers mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, sea kayaking, scrambling and more; you can even book an island safari! I have marked down the location purely on a personal level, I travelled with 2 elderly relatives who would never have managed to walk up the hill to the cottage. Definitely needed a car. But the views from the house were magnificent. The house overall is lovely decorated and very clean with everything you need to a holiday.
