Welcome to L'Arête de Chalamon, a charming chalet in Menthon-Saint-Bernard offering exceptional panoramic views of Menthon Castle, Lake Annecy, and the Alpine mountains.
The name tells its story: 'L'Arête' evokes the ridge between landscape and horizon, while 'Chalamon' draws inspiration from the three treasures surrounding the chalet—the castle, the lake, and the mountains.
This chalet is a family home passed down through generations.
After holding the memories of my grandparents and parents, it now welcomes a new generation.
We have preserved its warm spirit while adding the comfort needed to create new memories. Enjoy a peaceful, sunny setting with a large green, wooded property, close to amenities: the village center is within walking distance, the beach is about 10 minutes away, and Annecy is just 8 km away. Perfect for families or friends, in summer or winter, the chalet lets you enjoy Lake Annecy (swimming, water sports, cycling, hiking) and discover Annecy, the “Venice of the Alps,” as well as the landscapes of Haute-Savoie. In winter, the Grand-Bornand and La Clusaz ski resorts are about 30 minutes away for alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. Blending traditional charm and modern comfort, the chalet features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious double living room, terrace with panoramic views, free Wi-Fi, TV, a game room, and many amenities. A car is recommended to explore the area.

La maison est très bien équipée et possède une vue magnifique sur le lac et le château.
L'hôte a été très agréable a répondu à nos toutes nos questions avant et pendant le séjour.

obsessie over in- en uitrijden, beperkte zichtbaarheid

Het uitzicht was heel mooi met zicht op het kasteel en in de verte het Lac.
Veel speelvoorzieningen voor de kinderen in garage aanwezig.
De benedenverdieping had een groot probleem van vochtigheid waardoor in een bepaalde kamer waar de kindjes lagen, schimmel aanwezig in de kasten waardoor de dekens ook muffig waren. Er waren ook insecten aanwezig die kindjes s'nachts gebeten hebben. De keuken is minimaal qua uitrusting en het bestek...
