The Old Sweet Shop is a charming semi-detached cottage situated within the walks of the ancient castle at Conwy, a world heritage site, and dates to approximately 1850. Having been fully-restored to its original charm and offering dog-friendly accommodation, The Old Sweet Shop is ideal for a family or two couples looking to explore the coast and countryside of Conwy.
On the ground-floor, discover the open-plan living space equipped with a stone-built fire surround featuring a woodburning gas stove, an audio entertainment system and contemporary furniture, ideal for those wanting to indulge in a relaxing evening, enjoy a movie marathon or have a quiet read whilst listening to some soothing background music.
The bespoke kitchen features a range of integrated appliances and all the amenities required to cook up a storm, before tucking into your culinary masterpieces at the dining table.
In the basement, there is an inviting snug equipped with a desk, monitor and chair, ideal for guests who may need to work during their stay; it can also double up as a children’s play area, so the younger members of your group can transform into their own little hideaway! To the rear, there is a balcony leading to a small patio space, complete with a table and chairs, an idyllic spot for unwinding with a morning coffee or basking in the midday sun. Conwy is a thriving seaside town and a popular destination for tourists, set within the walls of the medieval castle built in 1287 where guests can delve into the local history.
Marvel at the views of the pretty harbour and backdrop of mountains, forming part of the Eryri National Park, before sampling some local produce in one of several of the local restaurants, pubs, cafes and independent shops.

The Old Sweet Shop consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a dining area for four and a sitting area with an open fire and Smart TV, plus a basement study. There are two double bedrooms, along with a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Outside there is an enclosed patio with furniture and parking. Within 0.1 miles or less, you will find a shop and a pub, and within 1.5 miles, a beach. No Smoking. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. This property only accepts a minimum of 3 nights. Please Note: The property does not accept hen, stag or similar parties. Please note: this property does not accept check-ins starting on a Sunday. Travel Cot and highchair available. Please note this property only accepts bookings with a minimum of 3 nights.

We had an amazing stay at The Old Sweet Shop in Conwy. We loved all the personal touches. It was perfectly clean, warm and cosy on our one rainy day, and perfectly located within Conwy to view all the sights. No complaints, and what a stunning town to visit, with very friendly people!
