We loved the Isle de Re but found the house disappointing. Parking was a 12 minute walk away.We paid for bed linen - the bed was not made up, the linen was worn and did not feel fresh. The garden was smaller than the picture suggested. Overall the house felt dark and cluttered.

Difficult place to define, it does grow on you. Bedding dated and sheets bobbly and torn in places so very off putting. Towels meagre, considering you pay extra, I would expect hand and bath towels. Kitchen equipment dated.. Some dangerous corners for heads, which could be simply addressed. Lovely ...
