Nestled in a picturesque, idyllic secluded spot on the outskirts of Aschau im Chiemgau – towards Bernau am Chiemsee – a charming retreat awaits you.
The property, a former farmhouse with outbuildings, offers a stunning panorama: an impressive view of Aschau, the majestic Zellerhorn and the surrounding mountains. A place that delights nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet alike. The farmhouse contains two holiday flats and guest rooms. A breakfast service is not provided. Further comfortable holiday flats are available in the outbuilding.
Just 500 metres away, a bathing spot with a tennis court and a mud bath area – each with an inviting kiosk – invite you to relax. The location allows you to reach the Orthopaedic Children’s Clinic after a 10-minute walk; the centre of Aschau is a further 15 minutes away. The idyllic Lake Chiemsee is just 7.4 km away, and the Kampenwand cable car is 3.3 km away – ideal for hiking enthusiasts and mountain lovers.
About the host
For added convenience, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer available in the building, which you can use for a fee. We are happy to provide a cot on request. Free parking is available right next to the building.
In the rooms: To help you prepare your own breakfast, the rooms are equipped with a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge.
Please note that dogs and other pets are not permitted in our rooms and holiday flats.

The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host.
Arrival Description
By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn.
Coming from Frasdorf: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station, at the roundabout take the second exit in the direction of Bernau, follow the road for approx. 1 km, pass the end of the village of Aschau i.Ch., shortly afterwards turn right into the driveway to the Zwickl family.
Coming from Bernau: You pass the districts Außerkoy, Bucha and then Innerkoy. Turn left into the driveway to the Zwickl family.
By train: Munich-Salzburg train connection - from Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn.
