About this space
This is a fabulous Victorian stone cottage ideally located in a quiet street off the town centre It is just a 5-10 min gentle walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, and Opera House. On the ground floor, there is a fully fitted kitchen including a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge & freezer. There is a large dining room and a beautiful lounge to wind down in after a hectic day exploring.
On the upper floors, there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. There are 2 bathrooms. To the rear is a small patio.
The space
The property is very bright, getting sun at the rear in the morning and at the front in the evening. There are views from the front bedrooms over the hills.
The property was refurbished in June 2022. The guests have full exclusive access to the whole house. There is a small secure yard to the rear which can be used for bike storage. Access to the yard for bikes is, through the rear of the neighbor's property. In the lounge, there is a log effect electric fire. The house has full gas central heating with controls in the dining room. We have full internet with usually 30-40mbps download and a strong wifi signal throughout the property. Both bathrooms have large showers with high pressure and plenty of hot water. The first-floor bathroom also has a bath. Both have heated towel rails. Bedroom 1 includes a desk should anybody need some peace to work.
Guest access
Guests will have access to all areas of the property
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
