The building which today houses holiday apartment Casa Carlo dates from the second half of the 19th century and lies hidden in an inner courtyard.
Its characteristic cupola ceiling and extraordinary, typically regional architecture tell you at once that you are right in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Vettica is part of the comune of Amalfi, ca. 2.5 km from the picturesque center of the former maritime republic and easy to reach by bus. With a bus stop only 50 m off, you don't necessarily need a car to get around during your holidays. Another goody you can look forward to: From Casa Carlo’s spacious roof terrace, you have got an uninhibited view of the sea and the bizarre coastal formations. HOLIDAY APARTMENT WITH MARVELOUS SEA VIEW Casa Carlo, which is accessible from the street via a stepped path, is a wonderful accommodation for two, but also for a family of four. It includes a spacious room with living, dining and kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, one a double and one a twin with access of the terrace, and a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet). The dining area, which you enter Casa Carlo into and which opens onto the terrace, the small living area and the kitchen area (incl. gas stove, oven fridge-freezer) are connected by large, arched openings.
The two bedrooms face the sea and you can take in its deep blue first thing in the morning. The large roof terrace of the apartment is a dream.
Relax in the sun or in the shade of the roofed part and let the view of the sea "wash over" you. The lovely outdoor dining area with large wrought-iron table and chairs is perfect for meals out in the open. Furnishing of Casa Carlo also includes air conditioning (in the dining area), TV, WiFi and washing machine.
A children’s bed can be provided. PARKING: Enclosed/lockable parking across from Casa Carlo is available for a fee, but prior reservation (when booking!) is required. AROUND HOLIDAY APARTMENT CASA CARLO In the immediate vicinity of Casa Carlo lies bus stop "Torre Vettica". SITA buses run to Amalfi and Agerola/Pogerola at regular intervals.
From the bus terminal at Amalfi, coastal 'celebrities' such as Positano, Ravello and Sorrento are easily and quickly reached.
From Amalfi’s harbor, boats depart for Capri every day and, in summer, even for the Cilento (Agropoli). A supermarket is about 500 m from Casa Carlo.
A bar and restaurants are also nearby, partly within walking distance.
A short walk (ca. 600 m) along a stepped path takes you to Ristorante Al Pesce d’Oro. ALL KINDS OF EXCURSIONS Casa Carlo is very conveniently located.
Strolling through lively, colorful Amalfi or glamorous Positano is surely worth your while, not only if you are interested in culture. Wir moechten besonders Antonio hervorheben, der einen unglaublichen Job macht.
Am Ankunftstag hat er uns zum kleinen Supermarkt gefahren, damit wir die ersten Einkaeufe machen konnten.Wenn wir mal ein Restaurant besuchen wollten abseits vom Touristenstrom hat er uns mit seinem Auto hingefahren.

Das Bad ist in einer sehr schlechten Zustand. Verschimmelt, schmutzig und unhygienisch. Das muss renoviert werden. Keine gute Küchenausstattung. Die Sicherung geht aus wenn man den Ofen anmacht. Der Kühlschrank ist verschimmelt und ecklig und die Waschmachine ist gerostet. Beides müssen ersetzt werd...
