The lounge has windows to the front and patio doors to the back, allowing lots of light into the lounge and dining areas.
The lounge has patio doors leading to the patio and garden areas where you can sit and enjoy the lovely Lakeland views. The kitchen has electric oven & gas hob, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.
There is also a breakfast table and chairs. From the kitchen there is a small utility/drying area with a washer/dryer and space for coats and boots. The main bathroom is on the ground floor and has bath, WC and wash hand basin and is decorated in Laura Ashley prints. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms.
The twin bedroom has two single beds, wardrobes, drawers etc. and also has an en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and cupboards, and the third bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe, drawers etc and views towards Skiddaw.
All rooms are dressed in luxury linen and towels. There is private parking on the driveway, and a large garden with patio furniture to the back of the cottage. The garden is very private and backs onto fields and fells. Braithwaite is a cosy, close-knit village just outside of Keswick.
With a village shop, three local pubs, and plenty of walks right on your doorstep, you won’t even need to leave the village. If you’re looking to venture out into the Lake District without a car, Braithwaite is serviced by the X4 and X5 bus services, running all the way from Workington to Penrith, linking Braithwaite to local train stations.

A pretty Lakeland cottage which backs onto open fields with superb fell views and a little running beck at the bottom of the large private garden.

Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!

We had a wonderful stay with our dogs. It is a lovely fully equipped cosy cottage with great views. It’s is in a lovely spot of Braithwaite. The only warning is to be VERY careful leaving the drive as it’s on a blind bend in both directions on a single car road.\r\n\r\nThe garden is lovely and I imagine it will be beautiful to sit outside in Summer.

Rosebank is a very clean, comfortable cottage. Lovely views across to the hills at the back & pheasants & lots of birds visit the garden.Very handy for the Coledale Inn, & the Royal Oak & 5 minutes in the car to Keswick if you want to try something different like Thai food at the the Star of Siam. We have stayed there frequently & will definitely go again. Many thanks.
