Garth Hill House is a beautiful, detached property nestled into the bustling town of Ambleside, Cumbria. Resting close to local amenities and Lake Windermere, as well as an assortment of walks and mountain biking trails, this property is ideal for a multi generational family with their friends, looking to explore Cumbria and the Lake District.
Be welcomed into a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the town, park off-road and enter into a contemporary kitchen/diner with many home-from-home amenities to cater to your culinary needs, tucked away into sleek furniture with a charming, opulent feel. Here there is a large dining table for guests to indulge in a hearty meal at, as well as access to the patio space via patio doors, allowing the option for alfresco dining. Settle down in the stylish sitting room, offering a large corner sofa, countryside views, and the ambience of a glowing woodburning stove, ideal for movie nights in, and there is also a handy utility to take care of your muddy clothes.
Descend to the lower-ground-floor and discover a beautiful super-king-size bed, bathroom, small kitchenette and games room with pool table and folding table football. Garth Hill House consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, dining seating for twelve, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer. Sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove (logs are not provided), and a lower-ground-floor sunroom. The bedrooms each have a TV and consist of lower-ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link can be twin on request), a ground-floor super-king-size (zip-link can be twin on request) with en-suite shower room, a ground-floor twin (zip/link can be king-size on request), a super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, a super-king-size with en-suite shower room, a twin with en-suite bathroom, plus ground-floor bathroom and lower-ground-floor shower room. Enclosed rear patio with furniture and off-road parking. Within 0.7 miles there is a shop, pub, and lake. No smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. The bedrooms are very large and the communal areas spacious, and the facilities are excellent from TVs in each room to the heated porch / boot room, outside hose and electric charging point, to a separate utility room, and games room with pool and football tables. Immaculately presented and a great location in the centre of town, but in a quiet cul de sac. Nothing not to like!

An amazing place to stay. Fabulous location for closeness to Ambleside and great walks on the doorstep. The home is gorgeous with great a menu and all the rooms are of equal size and quality. Highly recommend
