Upon entering Driftwood, you will be welcomed by the inviting open-plan living space, filled with the warmth and character, perfect for entertaining, with a kitchen to satisfy the culinary needs of your group, a dining area for enjoying delicious meals and a sitting area for relaxing and admiring the far-reaching views.
The first-floor mezzanine-style snug is perfect for escaping with a good book or for the kids to play and an enclosed rear patio with furniture and barbecue provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining, while the sunroom allows you to take in the stunning views of Eriskay.
When the evening draws to a close, discover two beautiful bedrooms, a twin (zip/link) residing on the ground floor, and a super-king-size with en-suite shower room on the first floor.
There is also a ground-floor bathroom with a luxurious Jacuzzi bath, for unwinding after a day of exploring.
In the morning, venture to Daliburgh, a 9th century crofting village in the Isle of South Uist and take the time to explore the patterned beaches, machair and the various lochs, including Lochboisdale, Lochcarnan and the nearby island of Eriskay.
Spend a day getting to know the culture of the locals, and take a short drive to the various local attractions, such as the Barpa Langass Neolithic Chambered Cairn, the Uist Outdoor Centre, or explore further afield.

Driftwood consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a coffee machine, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area, a first-floor mezzanine-style snug with Smart TV and a sun room. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite shower room and a ground-floor twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size on request), serviced by a ground-floor bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear patio with furniture and barbecue, as well as off-road parking for four guests. Within 2.5 miles, you will find a shop, within 2.6 miles, a pub and within 1.9 miles, a beach and please note that one well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A highchair is also available. Driftwood is a wonderful escape in the Outer Hebrides for a family or group of friends. Please note: please confirm with Sykes if booking the property for work purposes. Please note: this property accepts minimum 7 night stays
