The house was perfectly clean, tastefully decorated and ideally located close to the centre of Morpeth next to the river. Off street parking meant it ticked all the boxes.The only negative was the double mattress which I found to be very hard and quite lumpy in places, and my sleep suffered as a result. Also, locks on the toilet doors would save embarrassment.

Have just spent 5 nights at Riverside Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with a lovely patio and garden furniture. The private parking space was an added bonus.

Morpeth is a fantastic community and a quick ride on bus or train into Newcastle. The Cottage is right on the river and connected to the park on the other side.
