At the heart of the home is a bright and sociable open-plan living space where floor-to-ceiling glazing and dual-aspect doors open onto the surrounding terraces; On sunny days the doors can be fully opened, allowing fresh Highland air to fill the room creating a seamless connection with the woodland setting.
The stylish kitchen features premium appliances and a striking island, perfect for easy, sociable cooking and gathering with friends or family; After a day exploring the area, settle into the comfortable seating areas beside the softly glowing fireplace and striking media wall, perfect for relaxed evenings in or enjoy long, unhurried meals together around the dining table.
Outside, the landscaped garden is what truly sets Heilan Roo apart; Surrounded by mature trees, it creates a wonderfully peaceful setting where wildlife is a regular presence; The gentle sound of flowing water from the nearby stream and waterfalls adds to the sense of calm and connection with the surrounding forest setting; Red squirrels are daily visitors at the feeders, alongside a variety of birds including woodpeckers and pheasants; Heron are often seen beside the nearby stream, and deer occasionally pass through, giving a true sense of immersion in nature.

There are 3 super-king bedrooms, 1 king-size zip/link bedroom, 3 bathrooms. Garden with patio, decking, stream views, wood-fired hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, waterfalls, parking for 3 cars. WiFi, fuel, power, linen and towels included. Pub and river 0.3 miles, shop 3.4 miles. No smoking or pets. Maximum occupancy 6 guests (including visitors); no children under 12. Ring doorbell in operation. Not wheelchair accessible. Friday arrivals preferred; Monday arrivals by prior approval. Up to 2 additional guests by arrangement (£350pp or £500pp in peak periods). Hot tub may be unavailable during freezing conditions. For stays of 14+ nights, a housekeeping visit takes place each Friday at 10am for a linen change and bathroom refresh.
