All of these bedrooms boast ensuite bathrooms with power showers, heated mirrors and underfloor heating. The farmhouse has everything your group will need for the perfect retreat, including a library, wellness studio, dining room and drawing room.

Papple Farmhouse is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The Harrison Spinks beds and mattresses are dressed with hypoallergenic vegan down duvets and pillows from the Fine Bedding Company along with high-quality cotton bed linen and towels.


Guests are provided with vegan Moo & Yoo hand wash, body wash and shampoo in each bathroom and a hairdryer is provided in each bedroom.


The owners of Papple Steading are eco-conscious and this is displayed throughout the house.


For larger groups, Papple Steading comprises four adjacent properties (sleeping up to 20) - Papple Farmhouse, Grieve’s Cottage, Shepherd’s Bothy and Ploughman's Bothy - making it ideal for large family get-togethers or groups of friends who want to holiday together without compromising on space. It is also the perfect location for a corporate retreat.


-Booking Requirements-

One member of the booking party must be over 25 years. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as proof of address and ID of the lead guest. This is required within 2 days of booking.

We will require the lead guest to sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to vet any booking.


Our properties are protected by Truvi (previously known as SuperHog), the digital trust platform that enables Hosts, Operators and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rentals space.

Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself and process a £1,000 damage deposit or £70 damage waiver. The damage deposit payment will incur a £10 fee. This Truvi verification must be completed two weeks prior to check-in.
