Metro station Saint Paul is traversing Paris from La Défense (business quartier) until Bois de Vincennes (est-ouest), so it's allowing you to easily visit the whole city thanks to its multiple commutes with other metro and trains' stations. Le Marais district has the Picasso and the Carnavalet Museums. Luxury independent designer boutiques contrast the plethora of vintage shopping that sell second hand goods by the kilo, as well as haute cuisine restaurants versus local corner brasseries. At the southern you will see the Île St-Louis and the eastern part of Île de la Cité, the oldest part of Paris.
