NewExcellent Lodge

The lodge is in a very central location to access most parts of the beautiful Lake District.\r\nWe found the lodge clean and well equipped for our 1 week stay. The only down side was too many high-tech gadgets that were difficult to control. Many guests value the on-site facilities which we didn't use on our holiday.

Super location on a beautiful estate, the early birds in our family even spotted two red squirrels passing the lodge one morning! Pool and table tennis were great for the kids and the lodge was really well kitted out. Plenty of stunning walks from the door. We would happily come back!

Very well appointed accommodation with wonderful views, a sunny patio and easy access to all towns and villages in the Lake District. However, although it is a short journey by foot into the village, the public pathway is very steep, difficult to walk on and with running water in places. The alternative is the road which is extremely steep and not for the faint hearted. \r\n\r\n\r\n
