For centuries, it has epitomised the deep longing for Italy of people on the other side of the Alps and has made generations dream of the south. We can actually help you to realise your personal dream! The "PiancaLodge" is located in the home of Goethe's protagonist Mignon on Lake Maggiore, more precisely on the sunny slopes of Cannero. Completely renovated in 2024, the residence offers five exclusive 1-, 2- and 3-room flats. The name of the individual residential units says it all. Due to the mild climate, the property is home to a wide variety of citrus fruits. All you have to do is choose your favourite flat from the oranges, lemons, mandarins, cedro and mapo and nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday. The very tastefully and lovingly designed interior has been carefully decorated using a variety of materials, so you will find concrete next to original wooden beams and iron girders. This mixture, combined with modern comforts such as free Wi-Fi internet access, dishwasher and cable TV, gives the entire ambience a very special flair. The flats also have free air conditioning, although this is rarely necessary due to the sunny location throughout the day. Due to the hillside location and the thick old walls of the house, the indoor climate is pleasant all year round. Each flat has either a balcony or a terrace, from where you can enjoy a gigantic view of the lake and the mountains. There is a charging station for e-bikes in front of each flat entrance. All guests also have access to a communal garden with a 35 m² sun terrace and barbecue. When you read all this, you can only end with Goethe: "There! That's where I want to go with you, O my beloved!" With this in mind: the PiancaLodge is looking forward to welcoming you! You can park your car in the private car park belonging to the residence, which is about 20 metres away. The last part of the driveway leads through a somewhat narrower road, extra-wide vehicles can be parked approx. 100 metres in front of the residence. Pets are not allowed.
