11 Harbourside is a lovely one bedroom self catering holiday apartment occupying what must be the finest position in West Looe standing high on the curve of the river with outstanding views of Looe Harbour, the Banjo pier, the beach and out to sea. Having such stunning views means that you can enjoy staying in the flat at any time of the year.  On and off-season Looe has plenty to offer.
The flat is perfect for a couple: 1 double bedroom, a well fitted kitchen and a delightful sitting/dining room which has French doors leading to a Juliet balcony from where you can enjoy the stunning uninterrupted river and sea views of Looe.
Please note we only want to accept bookings from non smokers - if you are a smoker please do not book. We have a zero tolerance policy on smoking in or around the flat and a full damage deposit is taken if there is any evidence of smoking.
There is a well-appointed bathroom and the apartment benefits from gas central heating. Free wi-fi is also included. (Please click on more details below to read on)
There is no direct parking space with the flat, but there is a drop off point when you arrive and leave the flat with your luggage, and there is plenty of free parking less than 10 minutes walk away. We have never had any problem finding a parking space. If you prefer, pay parking is available at a similar distance.
The front entrance to the flat does have a number of stairs (although there is a lift). However, the extra height gained is worth it! There is also a very accessible back entrance leading onto a tarmacked footpath that to the right leads down a short steep slope into the centre of West Looe where there are several shops and cafes, and a grocery shop and delicatessen. To the left out of the building a very much gentler path leads into a quiet road to take you to where there is free parking on the roadside.
The centre of West Looe with its delightful harbour, shops, restaurants, and quaint olde pubs including the "Jolly Sailor Inn" reputedly the oldest in Looe are only a two minute walk with busier East Looe, accessible during the season by passenger ferry or by a charming ten minute walk via historic Looe bridge. East Looe offers the visitor a host of pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as the local sandy beach and boat trips.
Walking west from the flat you will see Looe Island opposite the sea front and small beach area. There is also a characterful seaside café next to tennis courts. Going further west will take you onto the lovely coastal path to Polperro via Talland where there is also a beach café.
Harbourside was converted from the former Bodrigan Hotel in 2005 into 12 luxury apartments each with their own private entrance with number 11 being a penthouse/loft apartment.
As much as we love children, the flat is not recommended for very young children due to the balcony.
Please note that the flat is strictly for non smoking guests only. And sorry no pets
We do also have two single sit on Kayaks available in West Looe (one Ocean Frenzy and one Feel Free Nomad). We are happy to let guests use these at their own risk for fee of £75 per week plus a security deposit. Please do ask for further details if you are interested.
Finally, if you want a car free holiday, Looe has the benefit of a branch line train service connecting with the main line to London from Liskeard. This operates all year round.
