Enjoy a relaxing break in this cosy, Norwegian style log cabin situated on a holiday village within the Snowdonia National Park overlooking the Rhinog mountain range. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. There is no WiFi at the cabin, but you won't be totally cut off as the area has excellent mobile phone coverage and there is a free WiFi area at the reception/shop.
The cabin is 4 berth and is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms (one double bed and bunk beds). A travel cot will not fit in the bedrooms but can be placed in the living room area and can be provided on request. There is an open plan lounge/kitchen, which has microwave, electric cooker, fridge, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils, colour TV, DVD and Sky Freeview. The bathroom has a wash basin, toilet, shower and heated towel rail. There is a large secure decking area outside with table, chairs and BBQ, which makes it ideal for people with dogs. There is parking for 2 cars. Pillows and quilts are provided but you will need to bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels with you.
Well behaved pets are welcome absolutely free. Electricity is included in the price. On the holiday village is a cafe/bistro, convenience store, launderette and children's outdoor play area.
Cadair Idris mountain is to the south and Snowdon is to the North. The surrounding area offers something for everyone, whether it's high adventure, enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside or some simple family fun. The cabin is a great place to explore what the area has to offer and after a fun filled day enjoy al fresco dining on the large decking area and watch the sun go down over the Rhinog mountains.

Lovely cabin equipped with everything you need. Beautiful views from the balcony and very quiet and peaceful. The cafe/bar is only open Thursday to Sunday so be prepared to travel if you want to eat out. The walk around Trawsfynydd Lake was lovely.

A wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting. Very quiet, nice surroundings and a lot of places to visit nearby. Liz has sent us all the information we needed. The highlight was the balcony; the view was amazing. Thank you for this relaxing stay!

The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need. The host was reachable if any problems. The area was nice and quiet. The only negative is that it is miles away from supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. There is not regular buses or taxi services nearby.
