This is an attractive destination to enjoy nature and tranquility, with many hiking trails to explore, such as the Cathar Trail which passes through Espezel, or the Nature Trail and the Green Labyrinth.
For cycling enthusiasts, you can take numerous routes, including those from the Tour de France.
You will appreciate the panoramic views of this rich territory; escape for the duration of your stay in Espezel. On-site in the village, you will find all the shops (grocery store, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and restaurants that will introduce you to good local gastronomy).
The gîte is a cozy retreat for four and features a beautiful private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue for enjoying outdoor meals and relaxing moments in a large, fenced, and green outdoor space where calm and tranquility will be the watchwords of your stay. The gîte opens onto a large living room with a dining area, a lounge area with a sofa, a smart TV, and an insert fireplace.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a bar and a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a safe for your personal belongings.
A small office space with a printer is available for remote work.
The first bedroom has a 140cm bed and direct access to an independent shower room, also accessible from the living room, featuring a large walk-in shower, a sink, and a toilet.
The second bedroom has a 140cm bed.
Private and secure parking is available on the property. Electricity consumption: 2 kWh/day/person included.
Excess consumption is to be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.
For the fireplace, half a stere of wood is provided at the beginning of the stay; additional wood can be purchased from the owner.
Second pet: €30 per stay. The gîte is located in the Pays de Sault, in the heart of the Aude Pyrenees, a land of gastronomy and magnificent landscapes.
Its location is ideal, as you will be close to many places: the mountain and ski resorts of Camurac and Ax-Les-Thermes, the Cathar Castles of Montségur and Puivert, the Gorges de l'Aude, and the Lakes of Montbel and Belcaire. Electricity consumption: a package of 2 kWh/day/person is included in the rate.
Beyond this allowance, consumption will be payable at the end of the stay to the owner (based on a meter reading upon arrival and departure).

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour en couple et accompagnée de notre chienne Tokyo. Le gite est bien équipé et très propre. Le jardin clos est très agréable et notre chienne en a bien profité. Je recommande ce gite.

La casa está muy bien. Tiene un montón de comodidades y está ubicada en un sitio muy tranquilo.Mi única queja es respecto al pueblo, en el que no había ni panadería ni tienda generalista en la que comprar pan del día. El supermercado más cercano estaba a unos 5 km y con precios absolutamente excesivos.
