The Cité Médiévale is accessed via the street in front of the gîte, giving you direct access to this magnificent site. You can also visit the historic town centre (La Bastide Saint-Louis) on foot, just 10 minutes away. Many events take place during the summer season: Festival du film politique in January, Festival de la Cité in July. If you enjoy walking or cycling, you'll love the banks of the River Aude right next to the gîte, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage Canal du Midi. Lac de la Cavayère, a great bathing and leisure centre, is just 10 minutes away by car. Opposite the gîte is a small garage where you can store your bikes, and there is also a washing machine inside. The ground floor opens onto an open-plan kitchen with an electric oven, a ceramic hob (4 rings), a microwave, a fridge with freezer and a dishwasher. There is also a lounge area with TV, a washing machine and a barbecue. There is also a lounge area with TV, sofa and two armchairs. Heating by electric radiators and reversible air conditioning.
On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a 160cm bed that opens onto a small lounge with a desk. A bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC.
On the second floor, a second bedroom with two single beds.
