Marta's recommendation! My colleague Marta suggested this villa to me, located on Calle Carabeo in the center of Nerja.
She bet it would be a very popular villa.
In her opinion, customers wouldn't mind paying a little more.
But I had my doubts... the villa wasn't cheap, although the interior is of a good standard.
We finally managed to lower the price a bit and it worked out... Location and exteriors And our customers love the house! If your vacation is short, then think about the valuable time you can save without having to drive to the beach, restaurants, or supermarket...
From this house, restaurants are just a few steps away on foot and the beach is only 200 meters away.
Still, if you want to bring your own car, there's no problem, as you have private outdoor parking! Traffic noise? No, there isn't, because Calle Carabeo is a pedestrian street and only allows cars for those who have parking on it.
Let me tell you a little more about this charming villa.
On the ground floor, there are large windows opening onto a splendid terrace with a private 4m x 6m pool and fantastic views.
As soon as you look down from there, you'll see Playa Carabeillo, which is located between the famous Burriana beach and Playa Carabeo.
You can already imagine that the terrace is the favorite spot for outdoor dining - and for this reason, we have equipped it with a barbecue.
Now, please look at the second photo, on the upper floor.
Do you see the private terrace and the balcony? They are accessible from 2 bedrooms - imagine waking up in the morning and being able to step out with these views! You'll have to roll the dice to determine who gets the third bedroom, as it doesn't have a terrace (sorry!).
Well, now let's talk about the interior where we find a surprise... Notes: * The Nerja City Council intends to block Calle Carabeo with a bollard.
At this time, we do not know if this street will be passable for guests who have a parking space available there, as there is a lack of information from the City Council.
We will try to get them to facilitate access, but it is still too early to know.
In the event that access to the house's parking is ultimately not possible, the property cannot be held responsible.
As an option, you have the possibility to park your car in the public "Parking Carabeo," a very large space just behind Calle Carabeo, a 3-minute walk away.
There is a special price for 7 days (you can ask us for approximate prices). * During the second week of October and lasting approximately 4-5 days, the Nerja Fair takes place.
The fairgrounds in the center of Nerja are filled with stalls where women and men dress in traditional flamenco attire, ride horses, dance Sevillanas, drink Sherry or Manzanilla wine, and eat tapas.
Therefore, this is an attractive event, but it also has consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the house will not be available for a few days before its celebration as Calle Carabeo is closed to traffic.
If you bring a car, you can try to find parking in the surrounding area, or we can offer you a free parking space at the Marina Turquesa apartments (1.5 km from the house).
On the other hand, you may experience noise disturbances from the fair (music, etc.).
We estimate that this will not affect you greatly as the house is at a reasonable distance from the area, but we are not in a position to guarantee it. Interior and layout When Marta showed me the house, I encountered a surprise that I didn't like.

The electric shutters were closed, and it was very dark inside.
We tried to turn on the lights, and they didn't work.
It turns out the house has several switches that don't connect to any lights! But once we had the lights on and the shutters open...
I was impressed.
The first door I opened, at the entrance, was a guest toilet with dark marble tiles, very chic.
This elegance is also evident in the rest of the house, where you will find spacious, stylishly decorated rooms.
The living room is divided into 3 areas and has satellite TV and a very pleasant corner with a fireplace.
There is a semi-independent dining room that connects to the luxury kitchen.
It has everything: ceramic hob, oven, contact grill, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine.
The 3 bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its en-suite bathroom.
One of them has a double bed, the other 2 have single beds each.
And yes, Marta won the bet! Notes: - Free WiFi internet connection is available. - Air conditioning is available in the living room/kitchen and in 2 bedrooms (the double bedroom and one with two single beds).
The third bedroom is cooler as it does not get the afternoon sun.

An amazingly located villa, with unbeatable views. The only negative was no air con in the third bedroom, (and it was extremely hot when we were there) but we would definitely stay again. There were 5 adults and one child, and so much room for us all. We loved it.

Ralph was a great host! We had some heat and hot water issues, but he wasn’t long in helping us solve the problems. Our location was AMAZING! Close to the beach, grocery stores, etc! I would highly recommend Ralph as a host!
