Our cottage is less than 10 minutes walk away from Carnivan and Baginbun beaches, on the coast road, 3kms from the lovely coastal village of Fethard on Sea on the Hook Peninsula.
While the cottage doesn't have sea views, it has a great view of the countryside from the rear deck which has a picnic bench where you can enjoy the Wexford Sunsets.
The house is ideal for a family as the yard is fully enclosed and grassed (once the gate is closed). (Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request).
The cottage has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge.
The Kitchen has dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven and microwave, dining table which seats 6 and lounge area with TV (including Free to Air Satellite), 3 bedrooms (two of which have double beds, the third a set of bunks), 1 bathroom (without bath).
The cottage is located on a working farm with fields for miles.
During spring and summer we often have calves in the field next door.
If you are planning an Autumn or Winter escape then evenings can be spent snuggled up in front of the wood burning stove.
The house is well insulated and has oil fired heating.
There are no additional charges for the unlimited hi-speed 5g wifi with 390mbps speed, electricity or oil heating.

Laurene and Mike are friendly, helpful hosts. They live next door to the house, respect their guests’ privacy but are available if you need them. If you are seeking peace and quiet in a rural setting with beaches nearby, it’s an ideal place to stay. The hosts run a farm with calves which animal lovers will enjoy. Many thanks for a lovely stay.
