Ideally positioned on Southwold's Constitution Hill and just a stone’s throw from the beach, Iona Cottage offers superb holiday accommodation, which is ideal for a large family or group of friends on holiday together.
Originally two properties, this charming property offers accommodation to make sure its guests enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday.
The welcoming sitting room has traditional features such as an ornamental fireplace, original sash windows and period wood panelling and with two comfortable sofas.
The hand crafted kitchen is fully fitted with everything that is needed to create fabulous food for the whole family.
There is even a separate dining room, a really inviting space where guests can pull up a chair and sit around the dining table looking out onto the courtyard garden, whilst enjoying delicious, decadent meals together.
There is even some outside space to be had, in the shape of an outside courtyard complete with a set of patio furniture, so if the weather allows, this is the perfect spot for some alfresco entertaining.
A great addition to the accommodation a snug where the kids can slope off and enjoy some telly and chill time while the adults can enjoy grown-up time together.

At bedtime, there is a bed to suit everyone from a two double bedrooms, two king size bedrooms and a bunk room with additional single; all are warm and welcoming and a great place to rest your weary heads after a long day of getting out and about exploring. Talking of exploring, you’ll want to get to know the area, so why not start with a stroll into charming Southwold? Here you will find some great shops and eateries as well as a pier and lighthouse.
Southwold is home to the famous Adnams Brewery which you can enjoy a tour of, and if you like a tipple then there are other tours available locally including Shawsgate Vineyard, the English Whiskey Company and Valley Farm Vineyard.
Jump in the car for days out to attractions such as Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens, Framlingham Castle, Easton Farm Park, Go Ape Thetford and Helmingham Hall and Open Gardens.

Iona Cottage offers charming accommodation for the whole family to enjoy, located in a prime spot along Constitution Hill in Southwold.
Offering pet-friendly accommodation across two storeys, complete with two sitting rooms, spacious kitchen/dining room, four bedrooms sleeping 9 and two ground floor bathrooms.
You are welcomed into the entrance hall, leading to the sitting room and ground floor shower room, with a staircase leading to the first floor. Iona Cottage has two sets of stair cases which lead to the first floor, the first set is off of the entrance hallway, leading to bedroom 3 and 4. The second staircase leads from the hallway next to the kitchen, leading to bedroom 1 and bedroom 2. Please note bedroom 2 and 3 are interconnecting. Gas central heating. Electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, filter coffee machine. 2 x TV's with on demand content, WiFi. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. A travel cot and highchair are available. Parking is available along Constitution Hill and The Common on a first come basis. Enclosed courtyard garden. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking.

Really lovely cottage, spacious, with brilliant facilities, we absolutly loved sitting in the sun at the front reading in the glorious spring sun. Fabulous location - we loved it so much we have already booked next year! Thank you

Accommodation was spacious, kitchen had everything you needed, beds very fresh, clean and comfortable, however we had problems with the WiFi as it kept going down and found the two TV's difficult to navigate without instructions, some work is needed in shower room and was tempted to tidy up the fron...

We loved this quirky but homely and spacious house. The arrangement of rooms worked really well for 3 generations and the kitchen was ideal with space to cook, eat and socialise. Lovely touches including being well equipped for cooking, good crockery and plenty of cleaning products - all appreciated. Lovely bedding, toasty warm. We would love to visit again. Thank you .
