Please read it carefully before your arrival and let us know if you need anything or have any questions. ## Neighborhood The apartment is situated in the centre of Praia da Luz so everything you need is just a short walk away – the lovely sandy beach with beach-side cafes and restaurants dotted along the pedestrianised promenade.
There are two supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment, so you can easily get those freshly baked croissants for breakfast on the balcony.
Why not take one of the local buses to the historic town of Lagos full of Portuguese history and take a walk back in time through the cobbled streets where you have plenty of shops and restaurants.
Or visit the neighbouring village of Burgau, a quaint fishing village to the west.
The west coast is very popular for surfing, with some of the best beaches on the Algarve.
This is also the perfect place to use a base whilst exploring the stunning coastline.
Walking along the cliff paths of the Algarve is another way to do this, the magnificent paths are easily accessible from Praia da Luz.
If you are not looking to hire a car, this is the ideal accommodation for you to unwind in.
With plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby, you really do not have to wonder far to have an excellent and memorable stay in Praia da Luz. ## Transit You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport.
By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day.

Positive:
Drei Minuten bis zum Strand und im Zentrum eines kleines Ferienortes gelegen, bietet diese Wohnung alles, was man für einen gelungenen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt.
Negative:
Die Terrasse wäre noch besser, wenn sie einen Sonnenschirm hätte.
