At this unique spot just outside De Cocksdorp, between the old and new dyke, you will find yourself in an idyllic holiday destination. If you walk up the stairs of the new dyke behind your accommodation, you have a view of the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site "De Waddenzee" with the first neighbouring island Vlieland within sight distance. With a bit of luck, you can see the seals lying next to the trench on the mud flats with the naked eye.
Whether you walk or cycle to the south, you will find the nature reserve "De Schorren and Utopia". If you want to head north, you will reach the lighthouse via the "Haventje van Sil" , the nature reserve "De Volharding" and beach pavilion "Kaap Noord".
