Located in the heart of the town, the apartment is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade.
Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. The outside of the property looks quite run down, but the actual apartment itself is beautiful. I could not fault the cleanliness, the beautiful bedlinen and fresh towels, but the bed itself was very uncomfortable and sagged, which made for an unpleasant night sleep. I ended up sleeping on the sofa!...

Whilst I would not agree with the description of Ruby as 'luxury' it was a delight, thought and care had gone into the place to make sure guests have a nice home to stay in.
We would happily come and stay there again as it's perfect, well placed for beach, shops and amenities.
