Explore the town centre and youâll discover an array of independent shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. Saltburn is Ideal for those walking the Cleveland Way Trail, the small fishing village of Staithes is the next stop.
This part of the walk features stunning views as you journey through Boulby Cliff, which is the highest cliff on the eastern coast of England. Enter the property to discover a quirky and cosy living/dining room, with hard wood floors, fabric sofas, a stone hearth feature fireplace and a selection of contemporary and carefully chosen vintage pieces. The dining area seats six people and features a mis-matched dining table, bench and chairs.
Facing the large bay window this space is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning light. The soft furnishings and plush, textured rugs add colour to this large welcoming space.
After a day exploring you can relax in front of the flat screen television, enjoy your favourite book in the window seat or enjoy a family meal around the dining table. The separate u-shaped kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, gas stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer-dryer and ample storage. With plenty of worktop space youâll have everything you need to prepare fresh ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal. On the ground floor you will find the first of the three bedrooms.

This bright space features a soft natural palette with seashell themed artwork and green toned soft furnishings. The relaxing garden room with desk opens out with French doors onto the well-kept pretty cottage garden with an arbour, flowering shrubs and plants, a small lawn and a pear and plum tree. The garden offers a lovely little sun trap perfect for al-fresco dining. The family bathroom is situated on the ground floor.
Featuring a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin.
The walls are panelled with French Grey panelling creating a real âcottage feelâ. Upstairs you will discover the remaining two double bedrooms and a second WC. The first spacious double bedroom is neutrally styled with pale walls, crisp white linen and leaf print cushions.
Character runs through the bedroom with dark wood beams overhead. A lovely vintage set of drawers that fits perfectly into the eaves and a wicker armchair finish off the room perfectly. Between the two bedrooms is a small WC and basin. The second room features a double bed tucked neatly under the apex of the roof.
The small bedside table and lamp make this spot perfect for hiding away and enjoying some peace and quiet.
At night the Velux window overhead lets you enjoy the star lit sky from the bed.

We had a lovely stay in Rosebank Cottage. Very central location and the property was clean and tidy. The website doesn’t mention that a deposit needs to be paid beforehand so one thing to consider if you’re staying.

This was a beautiful, light and airy property. It was perfect for a family and really well equipped for those who were keen to self cater. We were really impressed by the quality of the property, including bedding and towels. The children really enjoyed the little garden. It was a short walk to town and we enjoyed the delights of Saltburn. We had a great few days.
