Quirky, comfortable and just 100 metres walk from the beach and the popular Ship pub in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, The Lobster Pot is a hidden gem. Perfect for romantic retreats on the coast, this one-bedroom shepherd’s hut is packed with charm.
Whether you have a relaxing retreat, or a fun-filled adventure planned, you can get cosy by the log burner and enjoy the beautiful coastal surroundings of the private and secluded Lobster Pot. Guests have access to the full shepherd’s hut. The keys to The Lobster Pot are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in. Private on-site parking is available. There is an enclosed gravelled area for guests to sit out during summer evenings and use the provided facilities, including a BBQ and portable fire pit. Please avoid going onto the grassy area or lawn, as this is private property Pets: Not allowed.

The Lobster Pot is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast. The Cleveland Way National Trail is on the doorstep of the Lobster Pot. It is is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured.
Enjoy an exhilarating walk along the cliffs to discover a secluded beach at Skinningrove (2 miles) or continue on for longer walks along the well-marked National Trail. Located just a short distance from the heart of the town, the shepherd's hut is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade.
Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland.
If you fancy a 17.5-mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend.
This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful! The Lobster Pot is quirky and cosy.

Very nice hut in a really good location but had a weird damp smell coming from the shower. We didn't use it but were only there the weekend so managed.
