Paignton also has a train station with connections through to London, Birmingham and further afield. A 10 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you into Totnes railway station which is on the mainline train route.
There are two or three trains an hour (30 mins) to Plymouth and Exeter (30 mins). By car, it’s 40 mins to both. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Woodpeckers is situated in Marldon on the edge of The English Riviera comprising of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. Beautiful house! Much larger than expected, really clean throughout and fully equipped with top quality products and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lovely quiet, rural location but close to plenty of amenities. Constant communication from Fresh Escapes throughout.

Had a wonderful stay over new year. Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings. There were 7 adults and a child. Plenty of room for us all. More spacious than we were expecting. Spotlessly clean throughout and very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Slept very well. Great communication with host. Highly recommend. Will definitely be visiting again.
