Brackenbury Cottage is quietly situated on Beddgelert Village Green, adjacent to the Glaslyn and Colwyn Rovers which tumble through the centre of the village towards the sea at Porthmadog.
With designated off-road parking, this Grade II listed property welcomes two well-behaved pets, making it an ideal escape for families or friends seeking a delightful getaway amidst the stunning Welsh landscape.
Upon entering the cottage, you will be greeted by an inviting living/dining room, complete with a TV and an open-fire, perfect for those chilly evenings.
The dining area easily seats four, making it an ideal spot for enjoying home-cooked meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.
For a moment of tranquillity, retreat to the conservatory, furnished thoughtfully for your ease, providing a serene space to delve into a good book or simply enjoy the surrounding views.
When the day draws to a close, retire to one of the two welcoming bedrooms.
The double bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a bath, basin, and WC, offering a private space to prepare for each day. The twin bedroom with basin, equally as inviting, is perfect for children or friends sharing.
A separate, ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC ensures there is ample space for everyone to refresh after a day of exploration.
Outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a safe space for your four-legged friends to roam, while the patio area, furnished for your ease, invites you to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or a morning coffee amidst the fresh Welsh air. Experience the local charm of Gwynedd, starting off with the quaint village of Bedd Gelert, before hopping on the Beddgelert Welsh Highland Railway for a scenic ride through the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Enjoy a leisurely walk in the nearby Craflwyn Nature Reserve or take a refreshing beverage in the Prince Llewelyn Hotel, offering typical Welsh cuisine.
Maritime enthusiasts will appreciate the Maritime Museum, whilst the shores of Borth-y-Gest Beach will fascinate beachcombers.
Engage with the cute furry inhabitants of Black Rock Llamas, before heading off to admire the imposing Caernarfon Castle.
Continue your journey towards Anglesey Sea Life Zoo, spotlighting regional marine life or explore the remnants of Wales' Roman past at Caer Rufeinig Segontium, also known as Segontium Roman Fort.
By staying at Brackenbury Cottage, you open a vibrant world of history, nature and charming local culture to explore.
